Griffin Networks Finishes Race In Spite of Mechanical Issues

Millville, New Jersey – For the second year in a row, the team from Griffin Networks took to the track in the annual East Coast LeMons race.

The crew for Team Griffin Networks, included:  Frank Lloyd, President of Griffin Networks; John Lloyd, Network Engineer, Barry Baube, Charlie Collings, and Todd Bardwell.

In the end, the #18 Griffin Networks car, a 1996 Toyota Paseo Turbo, 5-speed manual, crossed the finish line in 113th place out of a field of 151 total entrants.

“Unfortunately, we fought a head gasket problem most of the race,” reported driver John Lloyd.   “Essentially, the car was overheating, which caused a lot of issues.  We ran a total of 171 laps on the 2.3 mile track.”

The official event beneficiary is the Speedway Children’s Charities, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps sick, disadvantaged, and at-risk kids all over America.
